Funny Faces
We had dutch oven peach cobbler with our 4-plex yesterday night. Paul is getting good with getting the coals started and stuff. Shayden liked to climb the steps and kept on pulling these real cute faces. yes, she's wearing Caelee's "Born in 2005" shirt even though she was born in 2007; we just use it as an undershirt. You can kind of see her umbilical hernia in that picture too. We'll take her in to see a surgeon for that next week. Lately Shayden has learned to blow her own nose and fold her arms. She knows "more" and "all done" in sign language, and waves goodbye.
Alisa has been staying with us the past few days and she taught Shayden some sweet dance moves. Alis will be moving into Old Farm soon and she loves her new job so far. Yeah Alisa!

Climbin' Girl
I finally am learning to do Shayden's hair. It's starting to get long. This also shows her favorite toy...Lynette's old booster seat. She loves to climb on it and sit in it.
Grandma gave Shayden a frog pool for her birthday and we whipped it out the other day. Lee liked it a lot more than Shayden. I think Shayden needs another year and a few swimming lessons. We thought it was funny that they put "Warning: No Diving" on the side. I think Paul scared her too bad with the eyes and by putting her straight in. We'll try a few more times.

Cutting Hair
I cut Kami's hair last night...her beautiful long hair. I think she almost fainted because it was too short. Kami, I think you're beautiful either way. Lesson: only do an inch at a time.

Coolest Bike Trip Ever!
Teri, Kami, Alis and I went up Logan Canyon for a little biking trip last night and had a BLAST. Teri took all these awesome pictures and I thought I could share. We live so close to some of the most beautiful places on earth. Yeah for summer!
Fruit snacks are good.
Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil.
We're strong. Yah.
Cheese!
Givin' looks.

Parker's New Heart
Life has been very full of big news since the beginning of this week. Lots of ups and downs. On Monday night we found out that Parker got a heart and it's been beating since 4:45 Tuesday morning. He's been doing very well, and will continue to be sedated. Cody and Lisa have been keeping a really good update on their blog if you want to check it out. For right now the pressure in the right side of his heart is too high, but is slowly going down. They will take a biopsy of the heart to see if it is being rejected even though they doubt that's the case because he's been doing so well. There have been a few scares though with lots of bleeding and some blood in his lung.
One of Paul's good friends, Shane just died. He was really sad to hear that. We also found out that Paul got the job at Home Depot that he's been waiting for. Yeah! He'll be a "packer" working 4-8 am and will start training on Monday morning next week.
For now we're going to drive down to Riverton for today and tomorrow to see family. We won't be able to see Parker because he's so weak and can't have visitors. We were sad to cancel a camping trip we had planned for this weekend, but it will be warmer in a few weeks, and maybe more people will be able to come.
Shayden is now 1 year and 3 weeks old and is learning like crazy.

Shayden's latest
Yesterday was cold and cloudy. It rained a little and Shayden loved to walk around in it. She's a cutie. Lately she's gotten to be a really fast walker.
