Are all 2 almost 3-year-olds this dramatic? For lunch today we had leftover artichoke lasagna, brocoli and home canned peaches. When I put a peach on Shay's plate, I cut it in half real quick, and she threw a fit. She refused to eat it and just screamed and cried, "I want a big one!" It's been like this for a while. Will she ever grow out of it?

ugh... Yes, they grow out of it, but it is awful until then! The best thing I found is to stick to my guns. If she has a fit over not getting a whole peach, remind her gently that she still gets a peach, but don't give her a new one. Every time you buckle to their tantrums, they learn that if they want something, all they have to do is throw a fit! Good luck!
Caleb is a drama king. I am looking forward to when he out grows it as well. Good Luck.
Nicole is the same way. We ran out of syrup this morning. She had plenty but it had soaked in so she wanted more. We told her it was gone and she wailed, "Now I'll never ever be able to have syrup on my pancakes."
I sure hope they grow out of it!
once again sounds like our house...exactly! The thing that is so hard for me is when she insists on a big one, then doesn't eat it anyway! sigh...!
Oh, Raychel. I remember everyone having to have the yellow cup or the funny spoon and they all cried like that. Of course, Dad would point out that she now has 2 peaches instead of 1. Isn't that even better? I guess they don't see the reasoning.
Yes when she is five, maybe.
I always got the funny spoon. AND the yellow cup! Because I cried the hardest! No, maybe I used bribery? Or maybe it seemed like I always got what I wanted, but really didn't. It was all relative....
