Yesterday was another mile marker for Shayden; she took her first step. Not only was it her first step, it was her first TWO steps. We were over at Ryan and Bridget's house enjoying family home evening when Shayden decided to stand in place for the longest she had ever done before. It was extremely cute to watch her. Uncle Cody then set her up to take a step to him and her feet stood in one place and she leaned forward until she fell in his arms, it gave us a good laugh. On the second try she took her first two steps, we are going to have a walker soon =S. We will enjoy it, but he need to baby proof our house a foot higher now.
