On the move again!

Everything finally went through. We received all the paper work back and we found someone to move into our apartment. We will be moving into a house! It will be nice and comfortable. everything is slightly bigger than our apartment. The kitchen is a bit bigger, the front-room and the bedrooms--plus, we also get a two car garage. This may be home for probably the next two years, three years tops.

We are not excited about the rules, but we understand they are in place to keep this a nice and clean neighborhood. We are only a little nervous because the last time we moved into a place that had a Novel for rules it did not end very happy. It was all a miscommunication really. In comparing the rules though, the house will be a lot easier and to comply with...they don't care if I back into my driveway or store things on the fridge. (Yes, those are just two of a long list of really weird rules we had to live by.

We are really excited, this is going to be a really good thing for the family.

Things I've learned

The past few days I've learned:

To not pack a box unless I'm going to seal it shut that very moment.

To never buy anything from a smoker. Random, but true.

Oh, and I forgot to post yesterday that we put our 2 Bedroom apartment on the campus housing board and we've gotten a lot of calls, so we think we'll get a taker here soon, and we decided to move. We'll be living out of boxes for the next while.

Moving

Paul and I are moving into a 3 bedroom house here in Logan next weekend. Yay!
Shay is having fun moving.
Famous drool smile...this was after we got back from the temple. Alisa watched him and he wouldn't take a bottle and cried for an hour, the poor girl. After his no more bottle strike, he was a happy boy.
She's at it again!

Gavon's Crazy Pinky Toe

Here's Dillon from when Gavon was blessed. He's a cutie! Him and Shayden are 9 days apart.
Gavon's already riding Shay's bike! I have a good hold on him so he won't fall off.
Cheeser.
Gavon's pinky toes have always been tucked in this crazy direction. Cool!

Smile caught on camera

...Also, the famous "Going on a Bear Hunt."

WALLE!

At the beginning of this month Shay just started to get really into movies. The past two days she's said, "Walle! Walle!" Until I turn it on. She loves it.

Plates

I was blogging and then turned around and saw this.... Shay got out all of our paper plates and set the table.

Almost a Move

Paul and I have moved so much the past 2 years...it's been crazy. We are planning on moving into a new house/duplex in Logan by June 1. Hopefully this will be the last move and the next few years. Moving is so crazy! We had been on a waiting list to live in that area for about a year, but a unit finally came open for us. Of all things, it was the one right next door to Ryan and Bridget. Crazy, huh? We ended up having to pass on that one, though because we would have had to move ASAP and we are still under contract where we live now and didn't want to be in a tight spot if we couldn't find someone to sell it to. Another one is opening on June 1, right when our contract is over here, so we jumped on that one. We'll be about a mile or 2 away from Ryan. Paul was pretty sad, because he wanted to move now, but it will be better when he doesn't have to worry about school and work and a move. We're both real excited about the move, though. I was sad at first because the area where we live now is amazing. Great neighbors, I can run to the post office, bank, or store without driving a car. It will be sad to leave, but at the same time rent is cheaper for a nicer 3 bedroom duplex. I feel like I would still be able to do any or all the good things I'm able to work on here now. Life goes on and there's good people where ever you go. So we went from almost moving tomorrow right next to Ryan and Bridget, to moving in 4 months. We change our minds way too much. It keeps life exciting I guess.

New Thing

Shay's new thing is to climb on top of the diaper changing table and pull out all the wipes. She can climb up but not down.

Gavon's Blessing Day

Yesterday we blessed Gavon. My mom let us borrow a cute little white tux and it was such a special experience. It was a testimony to me of the power of the priesthood. It's really God's power on earth. I know Paul had what God would bless Gavon with revealed to him. A lot of family came, and we are so grateful for the support. Thank you!
