President Gordan B. Hinckley

As I was thinking of my favorite memories of President Hinkley I thought it would be cool to share on our blog one of my favorite quotes from him. When he went to BYU-Idaho to dedicate the new Hinckley building on campus in 2002 he gave an amazing talk. You could tell his love was so great. He said that as we pray for the Lord's help to do the best we can, the sun will shine and our lives will be fruitful. He had great hope that we wouldn't involve ourselves in anything that would debilitate us. If we were honest and prayerful, he promised God would open a way. I loved how he taught "...look in the mirror every morning...and say, 'I can do the right thing today, God being my helper. And I will do it.'"
